The Internet search giant announced the new survey -The Google Zeitgiest (Spirit of the Times 2009)-based on Google India’s search queries which determined what Indians were searching for throughout the year.

The list gives us insight to the events, people and trends that dominated the year.

Interestingly enough Katrina Kaif topped the ‘Most Popular Celebrities’ list and was featured second on the ‘Most Popular Mobile Queries in India’.

Reveals a source, ‘Katrina Kaif still tops the list for the second straight year. She even beat Micheal Jackson who featured second in the search engine for popular celebrities. Now that is something outstanding’
